The Intimus 9000 is the solution for organizations disposing of mass quantities of hard drives and magnetic media with sensitive data.

The Intimus 9000 degausser has a capacity of 300 hard drives or tape drives per hour, and features a 150,000 cycle lifespan with virtually no maintenance necessary. The Intimus 9000 neutralizes all magnetic material on hard drive platters, eliminating all data without a trace, and with zero chance of forensic recovery.

The Intimus 9000 degausser is powered by standard 120VAC wall outlets, and is quiet and clean. This allows degaussing work to be done in a comfortable office environment without disruption or distraction.

The Intimus 9000 offers a key benefit to users over hard drive shredders, as each degaussed drive can be sold to recyclers for up to $2.00 each. Degaussed drives are left intact and retain salvage value to recyclers, whereas shredded hard drive particles have no value and generally require payment to properly dispose of. The resale of degaussed drives allows the unit to pay for itself over the course of even a single large destruction project.
