Preferred Pack Model 55-GT Vertical Stick Pack Machine with Volumetric Cup Filler

Model 55-GT Vertical Stick Pack Form Fill and Seal packaging machine with “Volumetric Cup Filler” included. The Model 55-GT is a continuous cam-driven vertical form fill and seal for stick packing of instant coffee, drink mix, sugar, salt, seasoning, and free flow granular products.

The film reel is mounted on the top of the machine with our innovative film reel suspension; the dancer system ensures the film's tension and stability of the film roll unwind. The film passes the in-feed system and enters the forming device which forms into a tubular shape. It is sealed at the bottom and side by the sealing jaw system, the product is then dropped into the bag through the forming tube where the draw off roller pair transports the film downwards with a constant force. The bag is sealed at the top and the rotary knife system cuts off the tube into individual bags to complete the packaging process.

The 55-GTV features a single output system with a rotary knife to cut the bags apart and discharge 1 bags per cycle.

The end product is discharged in the front of the machine by a discharge guide directly into a carton box or plastic tray. An optional discharge conveyor redirects the discharge to the side of the machine. A flat conveyor can be added to link multiple machines to a common collecting point. The 55-GT is engineered to meet long work-shifts and operates under continuous workloads, through its mechanically driven systems which deliver solid performance.
