D and K Buffermount (DK-1965) Drymount Tissue Roll, (40.5 Inch x 300 ft.)

This 40.5" x 300' roll of D&K BufferMount is an acid-free mounting adhesive tissue coated on both sides with a low-temperature adhesive that melts during heating and bonds as it cools. This mounting tissue is ideal for delicate materials, including sheepskin, thin media, silk, and more. It is reversible and activates at temperatures between 160 to 190°F.

An added buffering agent helps neutralize environmental degradation. Materials mounted with BufferMount may be removed when put back in the press and reheated. Bond occurs during the cooling cycle.

BufferMount dry mount tissue is recommended for bonding high-quality or delicate images. We strongly recommend using a release paper cover sheet to protect the image and the mounting equipment.
