Its innovative design combines a single rugged cutting head and powerful motor with two feed openings to accept a variety of media. The front slot of the unit is perfect for feeding flat sheets, file folders, and optical media, while the door on top of the unit slides open for bulkier items, including crumpled waste paper, Compact Flash/SD cards, thumb drives, memory sticks, medicine/pill bottles, and more.

The Intimus OmniShred features an automatic start/stop via photo sensor, auto-stop when the top feed door is opened, and a unique paddle feed system that draws bulky items into the cutting chamber with ease.
