The Destroyit 4003 cross-cut paper shredder by MBM, unrivaled in office shredder sheet capacity and shred volume, has the ability to complete a great amount of shredding to your satisfaction. The "Easy Switch" control button uses back-lit symbols that display the operational status of the shredder. If the cabinet door is open, the safety shield is not fully closed, or the shredder bin is full, these icons will illuminate and alert the user. The Destroyit 4003 shreds a maximum of up to 34-36* sheets at a time, at a speed of 30 feet per minute. This cross-cut shredder produces Security Level 3/P-4 particles, 3/16 x 1 1/2 inches in size. The Destroyit 4003 has the ability to shred staples, paper clips, CDs, and credit cards thanks to the hardened steel cutting shaft. MBM even offers a lifetime warranty on these cutting shafts as they are fully confident that they will not break.

Unlike some shredders that provide flimsy shredder bags or frustrating metal frames, the Destroyit 4003 provides a strong and long-lasting shredder bin. This plastic shredder bin is nearly impossible to break and can hold an incredible 44 gallons of shred waste. The "SPS" (Safety Protection System) package includes an electronically controlled clear safety shield that prevents user harm when operating the Destroyit 4003. The "ESM" (Energy Saving Mode) saves you money on your electric bill by putting the shredder into sleep mode after 1 hour of inactivity. The photocell sensors within the feed opening automatically start the shredding process when material is fed into the opening, and automatically stop it when the paper runs out. You can get continuous use out of this durable motor, since it does not require downtime like some of the smaller shredders.
