Preferred Pack PP1622MK | PP1808-28-SS (Stainless Steel) Combo L Bar and Shrink Tunnel Systems

The Preferred Pack PP1622 MK (Stainless Steel) Combo series L Bar Sealer and shrink tunnel has a 16" x 22" sealing area. This compact all-in-one unit can be moved to where it is needed. Available in either a manual seal system or an air-powered, semi-automatic seal system.

These systems come with Micro Knife Impulse sealing technology that uses a teflon-coated single-piece band ribbon located in the upper seal bar. It will seal PVC or polyolefin films without smoke or residue. They offer extra-wide loading tables to make inserting materials into the shrink film easy. The heat-shrinking tunnel is designed to achieve the maximum results with the lowest use of electricity. The heat-shrinking operation is adjusted by setting the tunnel temperature and speed, and can work with all types of heat-shrinking films.

These systems come in both manual and pneumatic versions that require air compressors. The semi-automatic pneumatic systems allow the operator to feed the machine while the sealing bar goes up and down as programmed, i.e., every 2 or 3 seconds. The unit can also operate with a push-button control to activate the sealing bar.

• The PP1622MKCA model adds an air-operated sealing bar. This system can be operated as a push-button seal system or with automatic cycle timing, which opens and closes the seal bar at intervals set on the controls. Note: shop air is required for the air-powered model.

Common Replacement Parts for the Preferred Pack PP-1622MK Shrink-wrap Machine

Customers who order one of the five (5) Replacement Parts listed and linked below usually order one or more of the others. It is always recommended that the operator change out the Transite Channels at the same as the Band Ribbon Micro Knife.
This is because by the time the Band Ribbon requires changing, the Transite Channels are worn out as well and it will be problematic to insert a new band ribbon.
