Keep your Dahle Shredder well-maintained and running smooth with Dahle Shredder Oil. Maintaining your shredder with proper oiling will keep your Dahle shredder running at optimal performance. This proprietary specially formulated ShredderOoil is for use with all Dahle shredders.

To properly oil your Dahle shredder, simply apply a thin stream of oil directly into the throat of the machine, or pour a small amount of oil onto a sheet of paper and then shred the paper. Also run the shredder in reverse to spread the oil.

For Dahle CleanTEC Cross Cut models, simply add to the Automatic Oiler Reservoir when indicated by the shredder.

To properly keep your shredder running at optimal performance, oil it at regular intervals. As a General Rule - a Strip Cut Shredder being used up to two hours a day cumulatively will need weekly lubrication, and a Cross Cut Shredder without an automatic oiler should be lubricated after every half hour of cumulative use.

It is specially formulated so it won't leave any residue that could attract dust and clog the shredding mechanism. The procedure for lubricating your shredder is simple. Apply a fine stream of oil from one side of the feed opening to the other. Then run the shredder in reverse for a few seconds to help distribute the lubricant evenly.
