The Formax FD 644 is a folder/inserter with four standard feeding stations, which automatically adjust for different stock thickness. In cascade mode, these four stations can maximize production by filling them with the same documents. When one feeder empties, another one starts feeding automatically, allowing for a total stacking capacity of 1,300 pieces. For added convenience, the "Load & Go" system allows users to configure all settings ahead of time, increasing overall efficiency. The FD 644 Folder /Inserter also features double sheet detection and a unique sensor that signals the user when materials run out, increasing folding and inserting integrity.
