Description

The Formax FD 642 is a two station folder/inserter that includes two standard feeders, which automatically adjust for varying paper thickness. The "Load & Go" feature offers a one-touch set-up, which allows you to configure all the settings beforehand without sacrificing customization. The diverter sensors allow for continuous operation by re-directing double documents and incomplete sets for inspection. The FD 642 Folder /Inserter folds up to 8 sheets of paper at a time and inserts a variety of documents, including checks, invoices, newsletters and reply envelopes. The cascade mode allows for a total feeder capacity of 650 sheets. By loading both feeders with the same documents, once the first feeder runs out, the other one automatically starts feeding, thus maximizing production.
