Description

The IPS 40B-1/4 cuts material down to 1/4" pieces. The large 40" pinch, heavy top conveyor knocks down large disposable cartons, boxes, milk jugs, etc., flattening and force feeding them into the shredder with tremendous positive pressure. This conveyor system moves up and down to accommodate all thickness levels of material; it even breaks down corrugated material, PET and PVC beverage containers. The "reel type", hardened steel cutters churn windmill-style, cutting into paper without generating excessive dust, and requiring minimum power. Safety features include an infeed guard, large hinged top cover to form over machine, switches to instantly shut down power motor when guards are removed, and control transformer automatically converts high voltage machine power to lower household current for maximum operator safety. The key lock system ensures that only authorized users access the machine.
