Kobra shredder 240 SS2 is a basic strip cut office shredder with a host of useful features. This energy efficient shredder can handle paper, paperclips, staples, and credit cards. It is supported by a heavy-duty chain drive with steel gears.

The automatic start/stop function of this Kobra office shredder makes operation a breeze. It stops automatically if the wastebasket is not stowed properly or when shredding is complete. Providing level-3 secure shredding, it cuts material into 3/32-inch strips. It can shred 15 sheets at once with a maximum speed of 22 ft./min. Its carbon hardened cutting knives easily cut through paperclips or staple pins. Its 9.5-inch throat size can handle various standard sized documents. An auto-reverse mechanism prevents paper jams by rolling them out. A 9.5-gallon detachable wastebasket provides ample space for shredded waste.

Kobra 240 SS2 strip cut office shredder has a thermal protected motor which ensures continuous operation without any interruptions and overheating. It comes with a built-in 'Energy Smart' management system that conserves energy when the unit is in standby mode.
