Kobra 260 HS cross-cut shredder is a mid-size, level-5 security shredder designed especially for offices requiring secure data destruction. It shreds a single A4 paper into 10,000 granulated particles rendering information completely indecipherable. Ideal for destroying 'Top Secret' and highly confidential documents, this office cross cut shredder is also used by the US Department of State, the Central Investigation Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA). Its carbon hardened cutting knives allow it to deliver quick and accurate results by shredding 8 sheets simultaneously with a maximum speed of 17 ft./min.

The 'Energy Smart' management system of Kobra 260 HS office shredder allows it to operate without consuming any energy in standby mode. The shredder features an automatic start/stop function, which enables it to begin shredding as soon as paper is placed on its 10.25" feed opening. This cross cut shredder automatically stops after shredding is complete. The shredded waste is collected in a 21-gallon detachable waste bin. Due to its removable nature, the waste bin can be conveniently emptied and cleaned.

Kobra 260 HS high security shredder incorporates a continuous duty thermal protected motor allowing it to operate non-stop without overheating. For ease of movement, the unit is mounted on castors, which allow you to conveniently park it anywhere. It features a unique space saving design, which is perfect for any office environment.
