The Kobra shredder 300 SS5 is a strip cut multimedia shredder perfect for mail room or copy room use. It is a level 2 security shredder that can shred paper, CDs, DVDs, floppy disks, credit cards, paper clips, and staples. The 300 SS5 has one of the highest sheet capacities. It can shred 46 sheets and 3 credit cards at once!

The Kobra 300 SS5 features 2 'Super Potential Power Unit'. The shredders usually use a heavy duty chain drive with steel gears to deliver top results. But the 300 SS5 uses 2 of these units together with a double motor! This enables it to have a large shredding capacity. With a high shredding capacity, you would need a big shred bag to handle the waste. The 300 SS5 Kobra shredder has a relatively big 21 gallon waste bag that is big enough to handle the load. This multimedia shredder also has a wide throat which allows it to shred large sized papers including computer paper with tractor feed margins. The shredder comes with caster wheels that make it easy for you to empty the bag as you can move it from one room to another.

One of the unique features of the Kobra 300 SS5 strip cut shredder is the presence of an 'Energy Smart' Power Management system. This is a power saving environmental friendly system that reduces your energy bills. It automatically places the shredder in stand-by mode when not in use. The energy saving mode in this multimedia shredder is indicated with the optical illumination indicators. A lovely space saving design allows you to place a forms shelf on top of the shredder.
