The Kobra 400 HS-6 COMBI is NSA approved paper an Optical Media High-Security Cross-Cut Shredder. Most of the high security shredders can shred either paper or optical media. But 400 HS-6 Combi is capable of shredding both papers and optical media (CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays) with extreme security. It shreds the optical media into over 3,000 microchips that can't be retrieved or read even with specific and dedicated electronic equipments.The shred size is so small that it supersedes the industry's optical media shred size. This makes the Kobra 400 HS-6 COMBI a preferred shredder for Military Bodies and Government Agencies for shredding optical media.

The Kobra 400 HS-6 COMBI high security shredder has 2 feed openings, one for paper and one for plastic. The plastic feed opening is small so that you can easily insert optical media. It features an 'Automatic Oiler' system that automatically lubricates the blades. This ensures that the blades perform efficiently and last longer. It also features an 'Energy Smart' power management system. This environment friendly system significantly reduces power consumption and operational cost. It automatically places the 400 HS-6 COMBI in standby mode when not working.

OPTICAL MEDIA & PAPER HIGH SECURITY cross cut shredder - integrated Automatic Oiler

Suitable for combined high security shredding operations for Optical Media (CD, DVD, single and dual layer, including 80mm mini disk, Blu-ray Disc and credit card / badge) and Top Secret documents on Paper. KOBRA 400 HS-COMBI can shred up to 1500 optical media per hour. The special 1,5x2,5mm cutting system, which is the highest security level today available for optical media, can shred an optical media disk into over 3000 microchips which exceeds the Optical Media Destruction Devices guidelines and the ASIO T-4 standards for TOP SECRET level destruction of Optical Media. The tiny size of the shreds doesn't allow any possibility to retrieve or read any information left on small optical media particles even through specific and dedicated electronic devices. KOBRA 400 HS-6 COMBI is also equipped with a second cutting system with the 0,8x5mm cut (P-7 security level) providing High Security shredding of Top Secret documents. KOBRA 400 HS-6 COMBI has been evaluated by NSA and meets the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 04-02 for Optical Media Destruction Devices. KOBRA 400 HS-COMBI comes with an automatic oiling system as standard feature. Unlike other oilers from other manufacturers, KOBRA 400 HS-6 COMBI comes installed inside the shredding head with all internal components. The oil reservoir is also internal and is held in a special mounting bracket inside the shredder cabinet. The auto-oiler lubricates the cutting heads in specific timing intervals based on usage and will keep the cutting blades clean, lubricated and at their maximum efficiency at all times.
