The Kobra 260 HS-2 is a highly secure cross cut office shredder. It is a level 5 paper shredder ideal for government agencies. It shreds confidential and top secret documents into small micro chips. These are small enough that can't be read even by special electronic optical microscope. The Kobra 260 HS-2 cross cut paper shredder can be equipped with a manual mechanism. This is beneficial in cases of emergency, military or terrorism attacks when there is no electricity. You can manually shred the documents without having to wait for the electricity to come back. The 260 HS office shredder is used by many International Governments and Military Bodies, the US Department of States, the CIA and the National Security Agency, and is NATO approved.

The Kobra 260 HS-2 high security cross cut shredder features an 'Energy Smart' Power Management system. This smart system saves utility costs as it automatically places the shredder in stand-by mode when not in use. This 'Super Potential Power Unit' office shredder uses 2 heavy duty chains driven with steel gears and double motor. These enable this high security shredder to deliver top results. The Kobra 260 HS-2 cross cut shredder has a stack head design. It enables increased productivity and is different than the other Kobra shredders.

High security cross cut shredder suitable to shred classified and Top Secret documents; a special cutting system can shred an A4 sheet in about 10.000 microchips which become absolutely unreadable even if special electronic devices are used. It can be equipped with a special dedicated manual mechanism which allows to shred the classified documents also in case of no power supply (emergency, military or terrorism attacks). Approved by many International Governments and Military Bodies, it's also being used by the US Department of States, the CIA and the National Security Agency. A double motor drive technology, operating in conjunction with two "SUPER POTENTIAL POWER UNIT", delivers maximum shredding capacity. The Kobra "Accu-Flow" automatic oiler is available as an option on this model.
