The MBM DestroyIt 4004 CC-316 is equipped with a 2-speed system to handle two types of shredded material. The highest speed is used during bulk feed of large quantities of paper, up to 40 sheets of paper per pass. The other "power" speed is used for efficient shredding of computer print-outs or small paper amounts. The new cabinet design includes box for shred collection and foot operated pedal pushes down to increase cabinet capacity. It has a photo cell sensor that starts and stops the cutting heads automatically and a switch for continuous operation. The 4004 CC-316 comes equipped with an electronic door safety switch that automatically shuts down the cutting head when the door is opened. A thermal overload switch is added to keep the machine cool to avoid overheating. Optional EDP/computer forms rack and sound covers are available at an additional cost.
