The MBM DestroyIt 4003 SC strip cut shredder gets rid of office waste by shredding up to 50 sheets of paper at one time. The durable cutting head will shred paper clips and staples. The square waste-box design allows it to hold more shredded material. Plastic bags are used (and included) inside the cabinet to keep the machine dust-free; an important feature to reduce office allergies. An electronic sensor automatically starts and stops the machine. The stand-by switch allows for one-handed paper shredding. When the shred bag is full, it automatically shuts itself off until bag is removed. The 4003 SC shredder is equipped with a rocker switch to toggle between forward/stop/reverse positions in case of a paper jam or misfeed. The continuous-duty rated, powerful 2.5 horsepower motor includes a thermal overload switch to protect against overheating.
