Maverick MX-3 Series Encoder

The Maverick MX-3 Exception Item MICR Encoder is the newest generation of compact, robust, and reliable MICR encoders available from Maverick. The MX-3 is deigned to be a low cost encoding solution for daily low to medium volume exception item processing. The MX-3 is compact and sturdy. In comparison with the prior 300 series it is sturdier and slightly heavier. The MX-3 footprint is approximately the size of a standard sheet of copy paper. Exact specifications are below.

The MX-3 as the next evolved generation of MICR III encoders incorporate several new enhancements, this new MX-3 model with state of the art circuitry is not only twice as fast as the MICR III, it still allows you to program functions directly though the keyboard and begin encoding with minimal operator training. Standard Document Auto Eject and a Standard Document Catch Tray which were options on the 300 series are included on the MX-3. Ribbons can be easily changed. They can be snapped into a Ribbon Compartment. You do not need to remove the complete top of the machine to do a Ribbon Change.
