The 4004 SC-14 is one of the only 2-speed strip cut shredder models available. The 16 inch feed opening allows for efficient shredding of EDP print-outs or smaller paper amounts. The 2-speed system automatically adjusts according to the amount of paper being shredded. The regular power has the high sheet capacity to shred up to 55 sheets at a time. It changes to speed shred for continuous forms, print-outs or smaller quantities of paper. It has a continuous-duty motor rated for service. It comes in new box-style design to hold larger volumes of waste. The 4004 SC-14 is equipped with a photo cell that starts and stops the cutters enabling one-handed paper shredding. The electronic door safety switch stops the cutting head when the bin is full. A thermal overload switch protects against overheating. Optional EDP/computer forms rack and sound covers are available at an additional cost.
