Using State of the art technology, the CashScan 1800 Counterfeit Bill Detection Machine verifies the magnetic properties in the ink on the face of all U.S. Dollars in order to verify the authenticity of a note. Works on all U.S. Currency ONLY and does not work on Canadian Currency.
Genuine Notes are identified by the flash of a green light, while suspect notes (fake bills) are identified with a red light and an audible tone which will automatically sound from the CashScan 1800 Counterfeit Detector when a fake note is placed into the machine.
The CashScan 1800 Counterfeit Bill Detecting Machine is compact, lightweight and portable. The CashScan 1800 Counterfeit Detection Machine can be powered by the 110V or 220V with its' switchable power supply (included) or on six "AA" batteries. The CashScan Model 1800 comes with a one year parts and labor warranty.
The CashScan Model 1800 Counterfeit Detector is engineered to be easily upgradeable for any new designs of currency issued by the United States Federal Reserve Bank, i.e. it will detect counterfeit bills when and if there are new designs on bills released of U.S. Treasury.
