The CashScan Corp. SuperScan II Counterfeit Money Detector utilizes a built in microprocessor to detect counterfeit bills.
Using Several testing Methods including denomination recognition and multiple magnetic heads , the CashScan SuperScan II Counterfeit detection Device is able to identify the denomination of a note, verify its authenticity, and record and/or print the serial number of the note, all in less than a second. The SuperScan II Counterfeit Detection Device is a SELF-CONTAINED counterfeit detector that also PRINTS the serial number of each bill, denomination of each bill, quantity of bills and the total dollar or value amount. The SuperScan II Counterfeit Detector notifies the operator of "suspicious" notes with an audible tone and flashes a red light to signify "fake" bills. The SuperScan II Counterfeit Detector identifies authentic bills with the flash of a green light. This counterfeit bill detector has the capability to verify any denomination of U.S currency. SuperScan 2 Counterfeit Detection Device is the only one on the market that uses OCR Technology (Optical Character Recognition) allowing you to not only print the tested notes serial numbers directly from the built in printer, but to also build a database for future reference, printing, or to look up specific notes using the built in PC interface. Used by banks, currency exchanges, and law enforcement organizations worldwide, the SuperScan II is the accepted standard for tracking, verification, and traceability.
