Designed and built to cut accurately, the ERC 480E Electric Paper Cutter has a Cutting Width of 18.9 inches and will cut through a stack of paper 2.0 inches thick (about 500 sheets) in one stroke. Blade to Backstop Depth is 16.5 inches. Some of the Operational features on the ERC 480E include an Optical Blade Placement Indicator, Safety Cutting Shield and an Easy-to-Read Digital Display to set and register Backstop position and movement. The Backstop is manually controlled, extends to the rear edge of Cutting Surface and advances smoothly and accurately in 1/8-inch increments, It can also be locked in position. The Cutting Blade and Manual Paper Clamp align to allow for a Narrow Cut of 1.25 inches. Work Surface on the ERC 480E Electric Paper Cutter is a useable 28 X 26 inches. Blade Action requires two-hand operation - a beneficial safety feature. A Base Cabinet for storage is included.
