The Preferred Pack Model PP-YTA is an Automatic “Shuttle Style”, Tray Sealer that will seal lidding film to the tray and “Die Cut Excess Film Around the Tray” for a nice clean retail appearance. This is a fast and easy way to seal low to medium quantities of trays at an affordable price.

This Automatic shuttle style tray sealing machine is designed as a tabletop unit or it can be placed on a bench and used for sealing lidding film to trays. The operator simply loads the tray or trays into the tooling cavity and press on the foot switch and the tooling moves into the seal area where the lidding film will be sealed to the tray or container for an attractive look and the film will be die cut around the tray via the top tooling then the scrap is automatically wound up. The temperature and sealing time can be set depending on the type of tray and material thickness being used. When you load the tray the operator will push the handle of the tooling tray inward to start the sealing cycle, once inside it will apply the seal pressure to seal the tray and die cut around the tray to make a nice clean cut leaving no scrap, the scrap is automatically would up on a scrap wheel and the operator will then pull the tray outward to remove the sealed tray. The film is then automatically advanced for the next package. This machine is designed to ensure that each compartment of the tray is separately sealed. Easy changeover of tooling allows operator to run different trays sizes easily.

Optional Installation: To be performed by factory trained service engineer. Customer is responsible for uncrating of machine and placing it in position on floor. Customer is also responsible for bringing necessary air and electrical requirements to machine. Service engineer will set up machine, train operators and maintenance personal on all machine functions and routine maintenance procedures. Service engineer will make sure customer is running production and customer is required to sign off on installation after completion. Installation and training is billed at prevailing service rates of $120.00 per hour for labor ($960.00 per day) and $100.00 per hour for travel time. Air fare, hotel, car rental and stay expenses are additional if required.

Product Samples:Are required to make sure your equipment is set up and runs properly prior to shipment. 5-10 samples of each tray size and film are required for evaluation and testing.
