Semi-Automatic L’ Sealer with magnet clamping, powered takeaway conveyor, cylinder arm return, “Micro Knife” seal system standard, stainless steel compensator assembly, automatic cycle timing, pin perf, Stainless steel film clamps, casters.

Preferred Pack manufactures a complete line of Semi-Automatic L-bar sealers, available in a range of sealing capacities to meet any package size. Designed for medium-volume production, these machines are capable of sealing up to 20 packages per minute. Three models are available, with seal ranges from 16 x 22 up to 30 x 40 Inch, use the L-Bar Sealer to seal bags or add a shrink tunnel to create a complete packaging system, able to produce a variety of sizes of shrink wrap packages.

Model's PP1622 and PP2028 are available either with a Micro Knife seal system or a nichrome wire sealer; the PP3040 models are available as a nichrome wire sealer only. The Micro Knife band ribbon reduces downtime, virtually eliminating broken seal wires. They are Teflon-coated and produce fast, clean seals every time. A stainless steel compensator assembly controls the “Micro Knife” temperature.

All three models come standard with the sealing bar being closed manually with the automatic opening controlled with the magnetic hold-down cycle. To increase packaging speed, the pneumatic air-powered seal bars models offer a push-button control to automatically close the seal bar or the unit can be set with a timed cycle speed for hands-free operation.

Common Replacement Parts for the Preferred Pack PP-3040W Shrink-wrap Machine

Customers who order one of the Two (2) Replacement Parts listed and linked below usually order one or more of the others. It is always recommended that the operator change out the Transite Channels at the same as the Band Ribbon Micro Knife.
This is because by the time the Band Ribbon requires changing, the Transite Channels are worn out as well and it will be problematic to insert a new band ribbon.
