The Preferred Pack Model PP620-405 drop sealer and bag opener combo systems are exactly what you need to quickly fill and seal products into a bag for transportation and retail sale. The system is remarkably simple and efficient. The bag opener is loaded with bags, using forced air to keep the bag open for easy loading. Once products are placed inside the bag, it slides down to the drop sealer where holding pins are pre-adjusted to accommodate the bag length. A built-in photo eye is then used to automatically activate a pneumatic seal bag, which closes the bag shut. Upon being sealed shut, a cutting bar is used to remove excess waste. A jet of air is used to remove scrap material. Once this is all done, the holding pins are removed, allowing the package to slide the rest of the way off of the machine and making room for a new product. The PP620-405 has a 20" wide sealing bar. It can be used with film up to 10 mil thick and has dual controls for sealing temperature and time. It is capable of packaging up to 25 items per minute or more (although this depends on size and bag thickness).
