The D and K Fixed Temperature Tacking Iron for use with Dry Mount Presses. The temperature is set at 210 degrees. A Tacking Iron such this one from D and K Hunt Seal /Bienfang is used when tacking a print into position on a substrate using the base of the shoe to melt heat-activated adhesives. Use of a tacking iron prevents the print from shifting position while in the dry mounting press.
